1. Keep pouring plaster until it forms a surface.
2. Create texture on this surface with your hands and tools.
3. Apply paints and carve on this surface.
It is a process of adding and reducing. Plaster becomes a surface to paint. Unlike the usual painting surfaces, which only serve as containers to hold paint and to record artists’ movements, the surface in this process breaks this power dynamic by forming itself while paints are applied to it, so that both of the materialities guide each other.
